Currently focused on exploring traditional and contemporary approaches to craft techniques, considering the dichotomy between manual and digital interventions in craft.

The artist explores traditional embroidery techniques and other craft practices in the concept of modern world trends. She experiments with wool, hand-dyed yarn, textiles and recycled materials, creating bold textile objects, collaborating with illustrators, design agencies and various creative associations. her works are presented in private collections in Portugal, Great Britain, Israel, Dubai, Russia.

Tanya Borisova creates multi-layered objects using the technique of intuitive embroidery, mixing materials, forming abstract bright fantastic floral worlds, where there is movement and eventfulness in its own rhythm. Multi-layered textile objects reflect the variability of the search for self-identification and creative expression.

Phytomorphic objects are the result of the connection between traditional practice and a modern approach, natural and man-made.
